Fil-Trek and AP Integrated Systems Partner to Deliver Fully Integrated Skid Solutions

July 23, 2025

Fil-Trek Corporation is pleased to announce a new collaboration with AP Integrated Systems (APIS), expanding our ability to deliver fully integrated skid-mounted process systems for complex industrial applications.

This partnership enhances what Fil-Trek already does best: manufacturing complete, custom-built systems from concept to delivery. By integrating the additional engineering and project management capabilities of the APIS team, we offer a more streamlined experience with fewer coordination points, faster project timelines, and complete systems that arrive fully assembled and ready for installation.

With over 25 years of experience and a 150,000 square foot facility in Cambridge, Ontario, Fil-Trek provides dependable in-house fabrication, assembly, and testing. By working with APIS, whose engineers and project managers bring deep experience across sectors such as mining, power generation, oil and gas, and municipal water treatment, we are broadening what we can offer our customers.

Fil-Trek’s Proven Experience in Action

High Purity Water Pumping Skids

In 2024, Fil-Trek delivered eight fully assembled pumping skids for a large-scale water treatment project. The project was completed on schedule and met all performance and quality requirements.

Mining Skids in Northern Ontario

A time-sensitive project for a major mining operation required rapid coordination and precise execution. Fil-Trek built and delivered plug-and-play skids on time. The system met the site’s startup deadline and performance benchmarks.

Expanding Our In-House Automation Capabilities

This partnership also builds on Fil-Trek’s existing automation capabilities. With enhanced engineering support and system-level design experience, we can offer more integrated controls, advanced actuation, and precision monitoring. Whether it is filtration, separation, or material handling, our systems are designed for efficiency, safety, and long-term performance.

Renewable Fuel Strainer System
For a renewable fuel production project, Fil-Trek developed a custom plunger-style strainer system inspired by a French press. Designed to handle high flow rates and hazardous feedstocks, the system included linear actuators, knife gate valves, and a specialized rod seal. This project showcases Fil-Trek’s ability to design and deliver highly customized solutions for challenging applications.
